ROGER DODGER

Roger came to us thru the local Police department after his stray hold was up. He has been wonderful with everyone he has met, although we don't recommend him around farm animals or cats. They excite him a little bit much but he has done great with other dogs. We have noticed that he does like to guard his possessions, mainly his food, so small children also may be a consideration. He really loves to be around his people and the perfect home with him would maybe ne a home with less active adults or somebody who is retired that enjoys a companion to hang out and watch TV with or go for short hikes Roger had his complete physical at our vet, where he was treated for internal parasites and a chronic health condition requiring no medication, an old hernia, was detected. It doesn't seem to affect him so our vet advises against intervention at this time. He really is a great dog and just deserves the chance to have the home of his dreams.
