My Story

***COURTESY POSTING*** Roscoe was found on 8/14/23 running in and out of traffic in the rain on a 4 lane highway in very bad condition. From the moment his current foster Mom found him he was a precious sweet boy. After trying to find his original home with no luck his foster Mom brought him home with her where he is currently staying in Clewiston, FL. When Roscoe was first brought to her home he weighed only 30lbs & was pretty beat up, he is now back to good condition and weighs in at 72lbs. He loves everyone, kids & adults. He does not like to share his food, water, or toys with other animals. Roscoe's current foster home has 2 dogs that live in the home and were there before him, one large dog and one small dog. Roscoe and the smaller dog get along great but the larger dog who was already living in the home is very territorial, Roscoe will not start a disagreement but he will defend himself so he is not able to share the same space with the other larger dog any longer. His foster Mom really loves him and she is doing the right thing in taking care of him and trying to find him the right forever home. She said when he is happy he can show you the biggest smile and warm your heart. He is also very smart, knows all of the basic commands like "sit" & "paw" and is house broken. He will need to be trained to walk on a leash better as he is a puller so he currently enjoys outside activity in the fenced in yard at his foster home. Roscoe will love you unconditionally if given the chance. If interested in fostering, meeting, or adopting Roscoe please contact [email protected]
