This handsome Siberian boy is about 2 1/2 years old, weighs just under 50 pounds and is really a sweet, friendly loving guy! Big heart with a fluffy body! Since they were bred specifically to run, work and pull all day long, Siberian Huskies are most definitely on the higher-energy end of the spectrum. Not an apartment kinda guy. One interesting note about Huskies is that they don’t really bark, which is great…until you learn about their love for other types of vocalisations. They love to howl. They have a famous double coat, which sheds seasonally like other double-coated dogs. But Huskies have a very particular shedding schedule; their inner coat drops very quickly and in a short frame of time, sometimes as little as a week or two. Siberian Huskies are famously clean dogs who groom themselves much like cats do. This means they don’t smell and rarely need a bath. A good trade-off! Things we know about Saka: * He gets along with every dog he has been around * He is crate trained *He is a goofball when it comes to paying outside ( video to be posted soon) * He can easily leap over a 5 foot fence so this Houdini is a typical Sibe: he needs a privacy fence at least 6 feet tall. He has had quite a good time running with our goats and donkeys . They however were not impressed. * He is heartworm negative and fully vaccinated * He walks very well on a leash * He is about 2.5 years old and is a small guy: 48.5 pounds He is in Memphis!
