Shadow, a probable Black Lab mix, is estimated at 2 yrs old. She weighs about 45 lbs. She is just adorable, very sweet and gentle. She started out quite shy but is so much better now. We were able to find a wonderful foster home for her. She is going to need a very special, loving forever home. She was found to have significant arthritis in her right back leg after she developed a limp. She was evaluated and placed on medication to assist with this but still uses that leg much less. Her foster mom has young children and Shadow is very gentle and loving with everyone including the other dog and cat. She is described as eager to please and a very good dog. She loves to play with the kids and other dogs and tries to play with the cat when the cat allows it
. She is a little nervous in the car. She is housebroken if taken out regularly. She is only crated when the family leaves the house (as she will sometimes chew) but the rest of the time she is out and does great. She sleeps in her bed at night. Shadow needs to find a loving forever home where she can feel secure and safe and be medicated and monitored for her arthritis issues.
