Shawn O'Casey
Adopted
Breed
West Highland White Terrier / Westie & Miniature Poodle Mix
THIS POST WILL BE REMOVED WHEN THE DOG IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. INQUIRES REGARDING THE ADOPTION STATUS WILL NOT BE RETURNED.
Shawn O'Casey is a happy, lively fellow who was recently released from a commercial breeding facility. He energetically embraces life with joy and exuberance and doesn't know a stranger!
Shawn will be a perfect match for an active couple or family who can keep him physically and mentally exercised and challenged. Manners classes will benefit this lad and a securely fenced yard will be a requirement as he loves to run and explore, making up for all those months of confinement during his puppyhood.
Shawn would love a canine friend with which to wrestle and tag-team the bunnies and squirrels in your yard. As a typical terrier, he plays hard so a dog close to his size and age will be ideal.
Suggested adoption donation for Shawn O'Casey is a minimum of $700 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs. Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to other geographical areas as long as we can find a local volunteer to perform the courtesy home visit, and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs coming from a commercial breeding background require a securely fenced yard AND a resident dog for a companion, unless stated otherwise in the bio. Please note: invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment. Adoption applications can be found at www.wagntrainterrierrescue.com/adoption-information
