Thank you!** Meet Silver - an incredible handsome 2 year old, 62 pound Weimaraner/Lab mix boy. How has this handsome boy been looking for his forever family for over a month already? Silver was a stray who was found on his own at a camp in Mississippi. He was already neutered so we know at some point he had a family - we just don't have any idea what happened to cause him to be wandering all alone. His foster shares "Silver is smart, goofy, playful, loving...and then goofy some more! You just can't help smile when you are around him! He is such a weak behaved boy, he knows a few basic commands, and is fully housebroken. We are working with him on his leash skills because he does pull a little - but is smart and learning well. He is amazing with everyone he meets, loves kids, and is great around all dogs too. He loves having dogs to play with here. This boy will keep you laughing, kiss away any stress or tears you have, and fill your heart with joy! He is truly a special boy!" It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
