This big sweet boy with gorgeous golden eyes hasn't let the unfortunate cards he has been dealt in life get him down! Skuttle was abandoned at a house with a group of other dogs that we took into our program, left to fend for themselves or succumb to the harsh reality of many dogs that are left this way. Despite being left behind, Skuttle still has so much love and trust to give and hopes you will give him that same attention in return. Skuttle is estimated to be a 2 year old Husky mix. He is out of that puppy age but still young enough to meld into a variety of households. Skuttle is good with kids/cats/other dogs. He is working on crate/house training as well as basic commands. We will update his profile more as we get to know him! Skuttle is currently fostered in Texas, but is able to make his way to Iowa on one of our upcoming transports. Skuttle is HW positive, which unfortunately is common in Texas dogs that have not received preventative medicine. The good news is that we have started him on part one of treatment and he will finish with fast kill injections before transporting. He is now available for pre-adoption while completing treatment.
