Belgian Shepherd / Malinois & Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix

Red / Chestnut / Orange, Tricolor (Brown, Black, & White)
Sweet Solana, a shepherd cross (possibly collie / heeler) is looking for a home. She currently weighs 44 pounds. Solana and her litter of 5 were found near the SPCA Puerto Vallarta sanctuary. Their mum Keisha was tied up and left blind after surviving being poisoned. The puppies were in very poor condition suffering from malnourishment at such a young age. Solana has had refuge in the sanctuary, but it was recently hit by a hurricane. She's safe, but its crowded and she would love a home to call her own.
Solana loves the beach, swimming and playing frisbee and is medium energy. She loves her siblings. She has lived her early life in the sanctuary so would love a patient supportive home to help her adjust to a life in a loving home. She is the most affectionate of the litter. She has lived in a shelter for nearly all her young life, so big vehicles and new places can be scary for her. She likes to walk with her dog friends, but can be nervous when coming across other strange dogs, so she goes slow when meeting new dogs and cats. She would like a home in a quiet area (non urban) with some outdoor space to call her own.
Solana is now healthy, spayed and vaccinated. She is ready to fly to Canada for a better life where 3 of her siblings are thriving.
