Sophie Yorkshire Terrier Rancho Santa Fe, CA

This scrumptious cupcake is approx 1 year old and a brave/shy combo. Sophie is loving and attached to her people, but where she comes from, quick movements and loud noises meant bad things, so prefers a calm, controlled environment at home. She should have an experienced adopted as she’s still learning manners and rules. She’s a great traveler and will happily accompany you in the car, a dog carrier, or your purse—she just wants to be with you. When you’re out, she’ll sit patiently on the top of the sofa watching for your return (you may have a sock or two missing when you arrive). No barking or yapping, but a vigilant protector of home no less.
Sophie is not a petite yorkie, but is quite athletic and strong, weighing about 10 lbs. Her adorable little tail appears to have been docked but is still very expressive and will let you know exactly how she’s feeling. Anyone who’s a fan of baby goats (who isn't?!) will have their dream come true seeing this little buckaroo trotting and jumping about the house.

She is spayed, vaccinated and ready for her forever home.

Has been tested for Lyme, Heartworm, Erhlichia, and Anaplasma with a 4DX panel. All vaccines are up to date. Microchipped with Home Again chip.

Please don't apply if you plan to leave your pet alone all day, she is young and needs activity and companionship. Yorkies live 15-17 yrs old, require regular grooming and dentals, if you can not commit to 15-17 yrs of pet ownership or if you cannot afford the care of a dog like this please do not apply, it is not fair to them.
