Speck is a sweet-natured, 10-year-old male Boston Terrier looking for his forever home. In spite of age-related limited vision, some hearing loss, a heart murmur, and atopic dermatitis, Speck navigates very well, is affectionate, energetic and super playful, loves to cuddle under a blanket, and gets along well with his foster family’s spayed female Boston. A power chewer, he focuses his chewing only on his own toys. Soft stuffed toys are not a good option for him, but he will come to his new family equipped with several suitable new chew toys. While he is not crate-trained, he sleeps in his bed without complaint. As a senior dog, he likes to go outside a few times each day, but is a champ at using piddle pads when his foster mom is at work.
Speck is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He is being treated with daily doses of Apoqel (given in Pill Pockets) and is on a diet of Purina ProPlan Sensitive Skin & Stomach for his dermatitis. He is doing very well with both.
With his cute, energetic personality, Speck is guaranteed to steal your heart with a wag of his little tail.
