Caleb’s Opus is excited to welcome our Spring Time Puppies! They are headed our way soon and don’t know how wonderful life will be!!!
We question, EVERY DAY, why people think this type of treatment of animals is okay. Why they are treated worse than bugs that you swat away. Why the government doesn’t do more to save these beautiful souls from the torture.
This young female Momma has lived several years on a chain. Her kind rescuer visited her for two years, taking her food and hay, hot water when her water bowl was frozen solid, treats when she could and seeing her through the litters that the owners felt they could sell. However, before he did sell them, he hooked them up to the same heavy machinery chains that Momma was on. FINALLY, Momma has been saved along with her litter of 5 week old puppies. Sadly, Momma has been gravely injured by stray dogs or something protecting her babies. We are hoping she will be well enough to come north with her babies, which include:
Sprite – Female
Spring – Female
Splash – Female
Sprout - Male
Upon arrival, the puppies will be approximately 10 weeks old. They are not only beautiful but incredibly food motivated so training will be a breeze!
