Originally from Riverside, California, Stewart was slated to be euthanized due to overcrowding and being fearful of staff.
The family that found him on line did see his potential behind his soulful eyes and decided to make the trip from Kansas City and rescue him
Stewart has exhibited remarkable resilience and possesses a gentle spirit. He may require some time to build trust, but once he does, you'll witness his affectionate nature. Stewart interacts peacefully with both small kids, infants, and strangers after a few minute’s of treats.
He needs a fenced yard and another dog would be preferable .
