My Story

Why Choose Me? Tammy LOVES playing fetch. She'd charge after a ball, sometimes drop or accidentally kick it, chase it some more, and never give up on returning it. She's fun AND entertaining. Tammy also enjoys treats and will sit for them, but toys are her passion, and she'd rather spend her time running and playing. The person that found Tammy said she was good with children and was around kids ranging in age from 5 to 17. She's a sweet, friendly beauty who loves to play but also makes time for hugs and pets. Unfortunately, Tammy has heartworms, so if she's not reclaimed, she will only be available for rescue, foster, or foster-to-adopt. Once she's completed her heartworm treatment, she'll also be available for adoption. * * * Tammy is part of Project Homebound, Athens-Clarke County's Dog Training Program!
