Tank is a tender hearted dog, sweet, gentle and easy going. But don't let his mild manner fool you, he can get the zoomies and be silly too!

Unfortunately, Tank tested positive for heartworms upon his intake. He is receiving treatment at the shelter and is doing great! Adopters will need to complete his heartworm treatment, please ask if you have questions about this process - don't let it hold you back from adopting an awesome dog. Tank is such a sweet boy he will make a wonderful addition to the home of his lucky adopter or adopters!

Although during his heartworm treatment Tank's activity level needs to be kept to a minimum, Tank would actually love an active home where he can play and be a big goof ball. We recommend children in the home are older (teens would be ideal), no feline friends, and calmer female dogs if there is another dog already in the home. If there is another dog in the home, we’ll schedule a meet and greet to ensure they’re a good fit.

Tank was brought into our care as a surrender. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations/prevention. He is about two and a half years old.
