My Story

Tater is a nervous dog. My dad when staying with me I discovered was abusive to him ( he was promptly kicked out ) prior to me adopting him he had been abused and despite it being almost 3 years after my dad leaving he is still anxious. Some Men can make him nervous. He loves hiking and playing ball. He tires pretty quickly and he is also happy to be a couch potato for the bulk of his time. If you can take him to a park or play fetch for 15 minutes a day he is content. He is fantastic with cats and other small animals. He will go after birds though. His herding instinct seems to only show when he is anxious indoors with people he isnt insanely familiar with. He is super social outdoors and loves riding in the car and is well mannered. He doesnt bark a ton and loves his kennel. Kennel would need to be covered if there are cats that dislike him. We have one that hates him and he will bark at him when kenneled if he can see him.
