We rescued Tilly from an overcrowded high kill shelter in Southern UT. She is 8-10 months old. She is a super happy go lucky, playful sweetheart of a Heeler who I believe could be ok with older children, 8 yr and up. She's not shown any "nippy" tendencies and is a very "soft" dog. She does boss the boys (dogs) around a bit but also plays very sweetly with them. She is good on the leash and has good off leash recall as well. We are working on her housebreaking by crate training. She needs some basic obedience training but that should be easy as she's very open to learning, food motivated and eager to please. She shows no signs of ever having been physically abused and is a confident, outgoing girl, just a little rough around the edges as far as poise goes!
