Toad

Hi there, I'm Toad! I'm a sweet and spunky young Hound/Cur mix (but that's just a guess); approximately 9-11 months old, and I currently weigh 50 lbs., although once I'm fully grown, I will likely be 60 lbs. or maybe a bit larger. My sister and I were found dumped in the country one day; the person who found us kept two of our siblings but threw us in a crate, sealed it with hog rings, and left us at the front gate of ARFhouse. I am the silliest, most gentle boy in the whole world; I am calm for a puppy, but I do love to rough house and play. I get along great with my sister and would likely do well with any dog I come across. I am super smart so training will be easy, not that I need a whole lot of that, just your basic training. I'm a puppy so naturally I will need help learning how to walk on a leash, and I might be shy in new places, but I'll warm up so quickly. I am gentle and affectionate by nature, I will make the most wonderful family member. Because of my size and energy level, I would not be suitable for an apartment; I need a large, fenced yard so I can run and play as I please. I'd love a family who would take me for walks and let me snuggle up on the couch with them for a good nap. The fee to adopt Toad is $200; this includes: neuter, de-worming, vaccines, HW test, and a microchip. **Please note: Toad is currently located at our facility in Sherman, TX.
