Meet Toby, a very sweet and energetic pup with a heart of gold. Despite being special needs due to his incontinence, Toby's zest for life is infectious. He is well-behaved on a leash and is crate trained, making him an excellent companion for outdoor adventures. Toby finds joy in simple pleasures like chewing on bones and basking in the warm sunshine. Rescued from the brink of euthanasia at Barc Animal Shelter in late 2022, Toby's resilience shines through his playful demeanor. Around 3 to 4 years old, Toby is seeking a patient and loving family to give him the forever home he deserves. His journey hasn't been easy; he was brought to the shelter as a stray after a traumatic encounter with a car. Thanks to the compassion of the Waiting Under The Willow Foundation (WUWF), Toby now has the opportunity for a fresh start. Toby gets along well with most dogs, adding to his charm and sociable nature. Based in Houston, Texas, he is open to finding a home with a family who shares his love for the outdoors.
