Hi, I'm Toby, an adorable 7 pound, 5 month old Maltese mix.
I am fostered in Linn County, about an hour from Eugene, Corvallis, Sisters, about 1.5 from Bend, and about 2 from Portland and Newport. My rescue people may be able to meet partway.
I am all puppy! I love to run, play with toys, be held, go on walks, take naps. I can be mischievous, just like a puppy, I will need ongoing training using only positive methods, to become a mannerly adult. I am partially house trained and aim for pee pads if I have an indoor potty accident. My aim is 100% house trained. I walk well on leash, and I have great recall off leash. I sleep on my own and don't make a peep all night.
I am an outdoorsy guy looking for folks who let me be active and get dirty. I get along great with other nice dogs and I would love someone to play with.
I have a hairlip that does not require surgery per several vets. I just have a funny nose and I am cute. I am neutered, micro-chipped, de-wormed, and I am on flea, tick and heartworm preventatives. I am up to date on my rabies vaccination. I have had one vaccine and will need a booster. My adoption donation is $600.
A great home for me and my must haves include:
1. A house with securely fenced yard and folks who are not gone long hours. I am a puppy and I need lots of company and training.
2. Adopters who have puppy experience or have done their research and are prepared.
3. Folks will treat me as a family member, take me on daily walks and include me in their fun outings, and will train me with love and positives.
4. Folks who know the cost of grooming and are prepared to pay it.
