Tonk’s a 1.5yo 9lb Chi. He’s good with dogs and cats that give him his space and good with older kids. He’s house and pee pad trained. He’s good with a secure fenced yard along with going for harness leashed walks and hikes. He is very energetic & loves to run, play & get attention, but will also curl up in his bed all day while you work. He is learning some commands & is treat motivated but still needs work. He will jump & get excited when you come home or get out the leash. He needs to be secured before doors are opened since is a known runner and escape artist.
Tonk MUST have an active person or family who will take him on walks or runs, be allowed on furniture to cuddle and get attention from his person or family along with giving leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT fit this please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone not a fit. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.
