My Story
Meet Troopa!
This adorable pup is estimated to be around 10 months old. He's neutered, up to date on vaccines, and all ready to leave the shelter for his perfect forever home.
Troopa came to HSoP several months ago and was extremely malnourished upon intake. Through weeks of slow and steady care, Troopa safely gained back the healthy weight he needed to thrive. Now as happy and healthy as any pup we've ever known, Troopa is ready to begin his new life with a new best friend at his side.
For still being a puppy, Troopa is bursting at the seams with personality! He regularly makes our staff burst out laughing with his unexpected antics and hound-like howls. Despite the challenges from his past, Troopa is a confident, friendly, and headstrong little guy with a big future ahead of him.
Troopa has a fair bit of energy and will need regular exercise in his future home. He also comes with a fairly loud hound howl, so he would appreciate a home where he can sing to his heart's content.
Troopa is 100% ready for adoption, and we would love to see him go home soon! If you've been looking to add some canine love to your life, consider meeting Troopa. Our dog kennels are open from 1:00-5:00pm Monday through Saturday, and our canine adoption fee is $135. Troopa will leave HSoP with a microchip containing his new owner's information.
