Hello. My name is Trooper. I have been just that, a trooper. I have been here in the shelter since January 5th of 2024. I am patiently awaiting my forever family. I am just a small year and a half old Retriever mix. I am heartworm negative and very friendly. I love to run, play, chase tennis balls, and get lots of cuddles. I would love nothing more than to enjoy some time out in the sun, relax with you on the front porch while you drink your coffee or tea, and watch a movie with you in the evening when you are settling down for the night. We do offer meet and greets before you take a dog home, and we do recommend meet and greets for all dogs over the age of eight months to make sure that the dog will get along with your dog before they leave the shelter. We also offer a 'slumber party' program which allows you to take a dog home for three days before adopting to see if they are a good fit for your family. There is no cost or commitment for this - we provide the supplies, you provide the love!
