Meet Tyto!! Tyto is a beautiful, sweet pup who spent most of her life in a basement, and was surrendered to the PACC to learn how to "Dog!" Tyto was probably used for breeding and relatively neglected, and when we got her she was hugely pregnant. After mothering her last litter of pups and seeing them all find homes, Tyto is now preparing to find her own forever family.

Tyto loves to play outside, balls are her favorite, and she likes to burrow in blankets. Her foster mom is working hard to bell train her to potty, and she is learning so fast! We expected any dog who lived in a basement to take a long time, but she is so smart!!

Tyto is learning that dog beds and people furniture, like couches, are not scary monsters and can be comfortable. She doesn't need to lay on the floor anymore. Tyto doesn't spook easily, like, loud noises don't seem to bother her, and she doesn't attacks vacuums, but she will need a person who can be patient if something odd seems alarming to her. She is, after all, just learning to "Dog":)

Most importantly, Tyto is a sweet, sweet girl who literally melts into people. She will sit on your feet, and tries to just meld with people - she is desperately seeking love and approval. And Tyto LOVES kids - she is obsessed with children!! She has done well with other dogs, and she has not been tested with cats yet.

Tyto will be spayed before she is placed in a home, and she is up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, de-fleaed, and working on basic training.
