Venus here; I know you are thinking about the planet, right? I am more like the goddess of love the planet was named after! I am a 2-year-old, 39-pound Pit Bull mix, a beautiful girl with very distinctive markings. I ended up at a very noisy, crowded shelter where I tested positive for heartworm, which, as you can imagine, is very expensive to treat. So I was on the list a dog does not want to end up on. The wonderful folks at Multiple Breed Rescue took me in and are paying for my treatment. During my treatment, I will need to be on crate rest and only go on walks so as not to overexert myself. It is good that I do not mind my crate and love to take walks. Even with being sick, I still have a lot of energy, so when my treatment is complete, I will need an active family. There are no cats here, so not sure how I would do with them, but I love playing with other dogs, and my butt cannot stop wiggling when I meet people. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
