Meet Walker
*Update* Walker went on a weeklong home visit away from the shelter and did fabulously! The family had a cat, two children (ages 2 and 6), and a neighbor dog with which he shared a fence line. The family had nothing but good things to say about Mr. Walker, but they just weren't ready for a dog.
Handsome, sweet, sensitive- that's what our boy Walker has shown us since arriving at the shelter. Walker is an appx 2-year-old pup that is looking for someone that will have patience with him as he has been bounced around a bit in the recent past. He has lived with cats and done well with them but will likely do best as the only dog in the home. Walker is welcoming to humans that enter the home and has been exposed to children ages 12 and up. He is housebroken and crate trained as well. Walker is going to be loyal companion to someone! If you would like to set up an appointment to meet him, call the shelter at 906 632 2519.
