Walnut

Howdy! My name is Walnut and I am hound. The vet thinks that I am around 4 years old. I will be spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped on 12/28/2023. I came to Powhatan from another shelter with my best friend Chestnut, we are basically sisters at this point. As she said in her bio, it would be pretty cool if we could find a new home where we can be together. Unlike Chestnut, I am more outgoing and hyper. However, we kind of balance each other out. I love cuddles and to be right by your side at all times. With all that being said, I have some bad news. The last time I went to the vet, they ran a couple tests and discovered that I was positive for Lyme disease and Ehrlichia. These things would probably make you not want to adopt me, but please try and make an exception because I really want to find a home.
