“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.” My name is Walnut and I would love a family of my own! I am a dashing 1 year old, 85 pound Great Dane/Lab mix guy! My early days were spent confined in a garage, but now I'm living it up in my foster home. A tall fella like me needs a lot of room to run and a fenced yard to do it in! I am good with other dogs, but I will chase chickens and cats. I need a home without young children, as I have a tendency to play a little too rough in all my excitement. I don't care much for my crate, but I will get better with practice. I'm pretty good on a leash though. I am sweet and funny, and I love to play with toys. I'm also eager to please my people. I'm a high energy boy, so an active family who will be patient and committed to continue my training is best. Hopefully soon, everything will be as it should be, and my forever family will fill out an app! My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! **Petfinder inquiries are NOT official applications!
