My Story
Hey there, I'm Willow Mae, and I've got a story to share with you. You see, I wasn't always homeless. I used to have a family, but life threw us a curveball, and here I am, ready for a fresh start. My previous owner surrendered me because they weren't able to give me the care I needed anymore. But hey, that just means there's more of me to love for whoever's lucky enough to bring me home, right?
First things first, let's talk about my size. Yep, I'm a big girl at 96 pounds, but hey, that just means there's more of me to love, right? I'm a mix of Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd, so you can bet I come with a whole lot of fluffy cuddles. Despite my size, you can trust that I'm a certified good girl when it comes to my manners. You won't catch me jumping on you or others when we meet. I know how to make a good first impression! While I lean towards being a bit of a homebody, I also enjoy walks and outings with my family. I'm a very friendly and outgoing girl, so I'd probably love meeting new people and animals on our adventures outside the home. In case you haven't noticed, I am on the..."fluffier" side so if we could stay away from long hikes...or even worse...running...that would be really great!
Now, when it comes to playtime, I'm all in! I get along great with other dogs, but fair warning, my size might accidentally give them a friendly bump during our romps. It's all in good fun, though! While I'm definitely more of a low-energy gal, I still love a good game of chase. I may not always be able to keep up with the more... let's say "athletic dogs" but I sure do try! Oh, and did I mention I'm not just a dog's best friend? Nope, I'm also pretty cool with cats. So whether you've got a feline friend or two at home, no worries—I'll fit right in! My last family said I adored those pint-sized bundles of energy called kids. Now, full disclosure, I haven't had the pleasure of hanging out with any mini-humans in my current digs, but hey, I'm always up for a new adventure!
At home, I'm a model citizen. I've got impeccable house manners, which means no accidents indoors and no chewing on your favorite shoes (even if you leave them out, oops!). And get this—I've never been kenneled! I much prefer to have the run-of-the-house, though honestly, I spend most of my time catching up on my beauty sleep.
Now, let's talk about my ideal family. I'm looking for folks who appreciate the quiet life but still know how to have a good time.
