My Story

Introducing James Howlett, otherwise known as WOLVERINE. (His brother, Deadpool, is also listed for adoption.) Wolverine is known for his animal keen senses and super human strength, so when we heard the story off this puppy and his brother. we thought what a perfect name! Just like so many of the superheroes, our Wolverine has a sad past. His Mama sacrificed herself to protect her 2 children. She was already a street dog trying to survive with her 2 puppies when she was attacked by a German Shepherd that got loose from its yard. She died defending them so they could go on and live their best lives. Our small rescue was already beyond full, but how could we not honor this brave mama dog by making sure her 2 pups were safe and taken care of? ALL OF OUR DOGS ARE or will be SPAYED OR NEUTERED. The Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue adoption donation is $595.00. This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (dhpp, bordetella, rabies), microchip, health certificate, fecal test and our dogs are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm. Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state. (This is typically around $65.00. Adopter will pay actual cost.)
