My Story

ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN NEW JERSEY AND LOCAL SURROUNDING AREAS!!! If your application is a possible match, a volunteer will get back to you within 48 hrs. No inquiries, please, without an application. This amazing sweet petite puppy is Yogi. He is about 7-8 months old and was rescued from a local North Jersey shelter after being found as a stray. Shelters are hard enough for adult dogs but even harder for puppies. Yogi is at the pivotal age where he needs a lot of socialization with humans and other dogs. He was temporarily placed in a kennel so that we can save him but has since been moved to a foster home. We are learning so much about Yogi. The most important things are that he loves anyone he meets!!! Adults, kids and other dogs are all at the top of his list. He is extremely polite and takes treats like an absolute gentleman. He plays well with all dogs and is learning their different levels of engagement. His new best friend is Ellie Mae aka Mae Mae. They have matching energy levels. We don't think he ever had toys but he is slowly learning what they are. He would do great in a home with kids over five years old who understand how to handle a puppy. Yogi would definitely benefit from some puppy/manner training classes to help him be the best dog he can be. He is an absolute cuddle monster and will curl up with you on the couch. He is 100% potty-trained and crate-trained. If you are interested in Yogi, please go to bfdaaa.com to complete an application.
