Yoni, Yoni, Oxen Free! That is what my foster momma sings to me when I am acting silly. My real name is Yoni ( JUST Yoni 7 months old). I was born in Texas with my brother and sister and then we made the LONG trip to Wisconsin in August. Man was that scary. Thank goodness I had my foster family to help me figure out how to live in a house and learn that things are not as scary as they seem. I am still working hard on that last part. With all of the help my foster momma gave me I have become protective of her. She keeps telling me that other people are safe and our friend comes over to work with me on this also. My next family will need to make sure to continue socializing me, working on training, and be a strong leader. Also little kids really make me nervous because they just move sooooo fast so it would be best to have a house with no young children.
So onto the FUN stuff ! I love going for walks, hiking, chewing on my toys, playing with my foster doggies ( I need slow introductions), helping my mom with laundry, cooking, cleaning, and snuggling up to watch tv. Car rides are so much fun. I like to sit in the back seat and watch out the window. So many new things to see and smell. I recently found out how much I enjoy being brushed. OMGOODNESS it feels so good I just lay there and let my foster momma fluff all my fur up and doze off to sleep until she has to flip me over for the other side. She said that I am a big fur butt but I don't shed too much as long as I get a weekly brushing. She has also tried doing this weird thing of brushing my teeth and cleaning my ears. I let her do it as I am a good girl but I didn't really like that. Paw Sundays is also one of my favorites.... She clips, then files my nails and I end up falling asleep. She calls me a big baby but I think being a dog is tough work.
I really would love to find a family of my own that will guide me through my fears and love me unconditionally. I promise I am a good girl that is worth it and will give you all of my love back.
