Meet Zengo

Zengo Update:

Zengo the german shepherd/great pyrenees mix is now thriving at 9 months old. His exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) is no longer slowing him down! In the last few weeks he has successfully transitioned back to a diet of sensitive skin/stomach kibble and is now stabilized with his enzyme supplementation. He is enjoying having back all his puppy energy and is finally starting to put some weight on!

Zengo is still looking for his forever home. This sweet and gentle boy loves long walks, hikes, swimming, romping in the yard, puppy play dates, and scavenging for the perfect stick. He is potty trained, crate trained, loose-leash trained, and has mastered most basic obedience commands such as "sit", "down", "come", and "leave it". He is currently working on "middle", "heel", "paw", and "spin". He loves working on obedience and is eager to learn new things.

Zengo would do best with a family who is active as he is a playful and adventurous spirit. He would do very well in a home with other dogs. He has a high prey drive so would do best in a home without cats. He seems to have some apprehension around males, but does warm up with time. He has not spent any time around young children.
