Zizzle is an adorable 9 pound Chihuahua and Terrier mix. We are guessing her age to be around 6 years old as she prefers cuddle time to play time. If you want a companion for spending time tv watching or sewing or just hanging out, she would be a great sidekick. She is potty trained, quiet, and gets along with other dogs. She is so laid back that cats would probably be fine too.
Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.)
You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization.
Her adoption fee is $250. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal Plus, IDEXX SNAP 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch microchip, and leash and collar.
Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.
Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references, and criminal histories.
Our adoption events are held Saturdays at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please check with us on which Saturdays we will be there.

SASPCA Homeward Bound Dog Rescue and San Antonio Great Dane Rescue are 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue groups based in San Antonio, Texas.
Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year.
Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease.
All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.

If your adoption application is approved and you are traveling from out-of-town, we hold your chosen pet for one hour past the event start time to allow for travel time.
We are an all-volunteer organization and do not currently have the resources to process out-of-state adoptions.
Our puppies, purebred dogs, and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so we encourage interested parties to apply online.
