Zoe is a 50lb, ~1.5yr old German Shepherd mix who was pulled from an overcrowded SoCal shelter 9 whole months ago! She has been patiently waiting this whole time for a home of her own.
Since being pulled from the shelter she has been in a loving & adventurous foster home where she has been exposed to many different people & scenarios. She's even starting agility classes with a trainer this week!
She is a VERY quick learner, and has already learned many skills and cues in her new foster home. She is fully potty trained, great on a leash (walks loosely & focuses intently) , and loves car rides. She is an extremely intelligent and loving dog that is ready to learn and adapt to her new home--wherever it may be.
She is comfortable crated during a typical workday, fully crate trained.
She is very outgoing & friendly with everyone! She and her foster canine brother are the very best of friends.
Her ideal home has a loving companion (or companions) with a moderately active lifestyle as she has already shown a love for hiking and exploring, but also likes walks around the block & playing in a yard are sufficient physical exercise for her. She likes being trained & that mental stimulation is tiring for her & a great way to bond with her. She’s looking for someone that can remain committed to loving her for the rest of her life. She would be fine with kids that are old enough/big enough to hold their ground if bumped in to.
Adoption donation (reduced): $150 includes her spay, microchip, rabies, bordetella, DHPP vaccines, dewormers, and up to date on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention
